It is essential to research all the different assessor qualifications to determine which one is best for you.

Can I do all of my Level 3 CAVA qualification Online?

Please read this bit carefully as many training providers don’t make this bit clear. You should also note that it is the same for every training provider but others often hide it in the small print. The answer to this is it depends on your circumstances.

Everybody can do the Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment online as this is a theory-only qualification.

All 3 other assessor qualifications require you to make assessments on 2 different learners and be observed doing that by a suitably qualified person. If you have access to these then you will be able to do all the course online. If you don’t then we are the only provider who can supply them for you. This means you can do most of the course online but will need to attend one of our centres to be observed doing the practical parts of the course with our learners.

Once again, just to make it clear, you cannot complete three of the assessor qualifications, that contain a practical element, with any training provider without access to learners to assess. However, Brooks and Kirk can provide these for you.
