The entire assessor training course typically takes around 1-2 months to complete, assuming a study commitment of a few hours per week. Throughout this time, you will submit assignments on our virtual learning environment and receive ongoing support from tutors.

Unit 1 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment

The first unit in the assessor training course focuses on developing a strong theoretical foundation. It covers the fundamental principles and practices of assessment, emphasising the role and responsibilities of an assessor. This unit is completed through Brooks and Kirk’s virtual learning environment.
