Outstanding support and the foundation of my career transition into high-stakes assessment. Completing my End-Point Assessment (EPA) CPD and achieving my Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) with Brooks and Kirk has been transformative for my career. As an educational leader looking to diversify into vocational assessment and quality assurance, finding a training provider with genuine industry credibility and rigorous standards was critical. The support from the Brooks and Kirk team from day one was incredible. The instructional materials were thorough, the learning platform was intuitive, and the assessor feedback was consistently constructive, timely, and grounded in real-world assessment practice. They do not just push you through to pass; they ensure you deeply understand the regulatory and pedagogical mechanics of valid, fair, and reliable assessment.Achieving my CAVA qualification through them has opened doors across the sector that were previously closed. It provided the formal, accredited foundation required to secure contracts as an Independent End-Point Assessor across major awarding bodies and EPAOs—including the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Highfield, In2assessments, and Specialist Education Support Services (SESS). It also gave me the springboard I needed to progress into Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) and take on Lead Quality Assurer remits.  In this sector, awarding bodies and training organisations demand formal assessment credentials before they entrust you with high-level standards. Brooks and Kirk gave me the exact qualification, confidence, and professional standing to build a flourishing assessment and quality assurance portfolio. From day one, I felt completely supported by the team. The course content was clear and well-structured, which gave me the confidence I needed to succeed. I thought the Level 3 course with Brooks and Kirk was great. I was able to complete the course in a timely manner and work at my own pace, which was exactly what I wanted. The support was very quick, the marking turnaround was good, and the quality of the resources and feedback was excellent throughout. I learnt a huge amount from the course, and Brooks and Kirk also provided learners for assessments, which gave me valuable experience in another sector that I otherwise would not have had exposure to. 10/10 – I would definitely recommend. I really enjoyed my studies with Brooks and Kirk. The support and guidance I received throughout my learning journey was amazing. The tutors were always helpful, patient, and quick to respond whenever I needed assistance, which made the whole experience much less stressful. The course materials were clear, easy to follow, and helped me build my confidence and knowledge step by step. I always felt encouraged and supported, and the flexibility of the course made it much easier to fit around everyday life and responsibilities. Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of dealing with Brooks and Kirk, and it has been a very positive experience. I now have 3 new qualifications, CAVA, IQA, and AET, which was  made achievable and possible with the help and support of the team at Brooks and Kirk. From the ease of contact in seeking support to the clear and helpful feedback given to help me achieve and pass each unit. Every person I spoke with and met, were highly professional and confident, and more over approachable and friendly. The team made assessment via zoom / teams easy and managed the process very well. I undertook most of the learning online, but did visit the office to undertake an assessment, even at the office I was welcomed and the people I met were all very helpful and polite even Allen. I cannot recommend Brooks and Kirk enough. They are incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. They have been so supportive every step of the way. I have learnt so much through this course and completed it at my own pace, as I work at the same time. I completed my Level 3 CAVA course with Brooks and Kirk and I would highly recommend these training providers. A friendly, hardworking and dedicated team that are always on hand to help. Great, concise feedback on coursework from Rebecca and Laura, which made the assignments a smooth process. For any other help, I found Steve, Billy, Kacey and Lisa incredibly friendly and immensely helpful. Highly recommended. I don’t usually write long reviews, but Brooks & Kirk genuinely deserve one. From the start, their approach to training stood out. The courses are structured in a way that makes even the most complex parts feel manageable. They don’t rush you, they don’t leave you guessing, and they don’t just hand you a checklist — they actually teach you. What impressed me most was how thorough they are with the documentation and the quality standards behind every task. When you hit a wall in understanding, they are there. When life and work get in the way, they remain patient, supportive, and consistent. They never make you feel like a burden or a number; they treat you like someone who is actually trying to build something. Their guidance isn’t just academic — it’s practical, real-world, and grounded. And the way they oversee your work gives you confidence that you’re not just completing a qualification, you’re genuinely growing. For me, this has been one of the most valuable training experiences I’ve had in the last 25 years. I want to honestly give my review. Thumbs up for Brooks & Kirk. When you want to know what professionalism is, then join them. I was doing my AET Level 3. I enjoyed every bit from begging to the end. I sued to watch Dan videos during the course, then on this day when we were doing our Microteach, boom, there Dan is face to face. I had problems with my laptop, he was explaining things and I missed the explanations, but wow, he referred me to the Office for support, the lady who assisted me was fantastic. When I finally got reconnected, the exercise was professionally handled, the explanations, the patience when things seemed not to go well for the trainees were done with the coolness I have never witnessed. Level 3 CAVA course I thoroughly enjoyed this course and learnt so much from it. The team at Brooks and Kirk are very friendly and professional, and they provided excellent support throughout the course. The turnaround time for marking assignments was really quick with lots of helpful feedback provided along the way. Course completion I have recently completed CAVA course work Brooks and Kirk. The course was very helpful, and I learned a lot. The material was well-organised, and the examples made it easier to understand. The assessors were great and very supportive. They were always ready to help and gave clear feedback that made it easier to improve. They were quick to answer any questions and always made sure I understood the topics. Above and beyond I decided to train for a second career and I couldn't be happier that I found Brooks and Kirk. Laura and Rebecca have been positive and no question seems to be too much. They have gone above and beyond helping me when I've needed it, giving advice and going the extra mile to help me on my way. I completed my Level 3 Assessor Cava qualification whilst being on maternity leave. The team at Brooks and Kirk have been always supportive and professional. They showed a consistent approach throughout the entire year I took to complete my qualification. The face to face session was also great and informative. Brooks and Kirk has changed my life. After a lot of research, on what qualifications needed to be able to transfer my hairdressing skills in a educational level, I've came across with Brooks & Kirk, and fair to say it was one of the best things that could have happened to me. Their professionalism and help is all you can ask for, and if I may say, after the first qualification, I'm at this moment on the middle of my 4th with them in less then 2 years, and I can't get enough of it. I hope that all present and future team of Brooks and Kirk keep performing at the same level or higher with all their learners for many years to come. I have now completed three courses with Brooks and Kirk (CAVA, IQA AND AET). I have been very happy with the distance learning process and modifications put in place to stay Covid safe. Some of the course content was outside of my comfort zone but the support and explanations were brilliant. The whole team are friendly, Knowledgeable and very helpful through out.  The weekly call to check progress was excellent. The support given to learners not yet in the assessment sector is really good as Brooks and Kirk use learners from other courses so you have access to a cohort of learners for assessment purposes. I am very pleased to have completed my course with B & K. They were helpful and friendly from the very beginning. I was guided throughout the whole course, including being made aware of each step within the process. When I was unsure, I felt comfortable with asking questions. The online portfolio system was easy to use. After finishing my course and receiving my certificate, I recieved an email about support with applying/gaining a job position. I spoke to Dan on the phone and he was so incredibly helpful. Dan was so honest and transparent with me regarding the courses and how the course I actually wanted to do was not suitable for me at this given point in time. He spent an hour talking through different options and tailoring them to my experience and qualifications. After our conversation, I came away feeling really confident about the path I wanted to go down. I did not even buy a course during the hour phone call.
