Internally Assure The Quality Of Assessment

The second unit of the Level 4 IQA qualification focuses on practical training and application of the IQA process. As a trainee IQA, you will have the opportunity to monitor two qualified Assessors provided by us, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in the field. The practical element part of this unit is delivered face-to-face at one of our office locations in: London (Fulham), Manchester, Coventry, or Boston (Lincolnshire).

You will engage in various activities on the IQA course related to monitoring and verification, enhancing your skills as an IQA practitioner. You will make arrangements for monitoring activities, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination. By requesting samples of the assessors’ work, you will have the chance to analyse and assess their performance. This practical experience will further reinforce your understanding of IQA principles and its significance in maintaining quality standards.

Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work in Own Area of Responsibility

The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) qualification does not include Unit 3, which focuses on the Lead IQA role.
