Every Learner is Different (ELD) is all about showing anyone that is considering becoming an assessor, that there are no barriers with Brooks and Kirk. Whatever your area of expertise, age, location, employment status etc, we will have helped people similar to you before. ‘Similar’, but not the same, because every learner is different!
If you would like to be a part of our ELD campaign and share your story, then I’m only a phone call or email away 🙂
“I am currently working in my original work as a Vechicle Technician.”
What was your reason for looking to retrain as an Assessor?
“As I mentioned in my statement when I enrolled for my CAVA training, I would like to assist the younger generation to learn a skill I find to be rewarding by sharing the knowledge and skills I have acquired in a long time. My aim is to assess these youths learner’s through the process of learning to become a vehicle mechanic.”
How did you find out about us?
“I did my internet research for the best training provider comparing the comments from learners. I also compared fees and the instalment methods which I found Brooks and Kirk to be far much better revised to meet my expectations.”
What did you think of your Assessor training experience with Brooks and Kirk?
“Honestly, at first I thought I wouldn’t go through with the training as it was my first time trying to understand what was required of me. But when I had a conversation with my tutor Anzela I was given good advice that helped me to ease into the training.
I really enjoyed it and was able to complete my CAVA training earlier than expected. Now I have completed my EPA training with Brooks and Kirk, hoping that maybe this time I may be able to get some work after completing.
What has changed since you completed your Assessor course and/or what are your intentions in the near future?
“I would like to get a new a job as an Assessor, but my worry is I lack the experience which many of the organisations that provide assessment work are looking for. That is my stumbling block at the moment, I hope Brooks and Kirk can help me in any way you can.”
(Of course, we helped Jackson following our conversation!)
