Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement CAVA
The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is the most comprehensive assessor qualification.
It qualifies you to assess learners in their place of work and in learning environments as well. Essentially, this means that upon completion of the CAVA, you would be a fully qualified assessor in your area of expertise. So, whether you need to be able to observe learners in the workplace or assess their vocational knowledge through assignment-based tasks and question and answer sessions in classrooms; the CAVA assessor course will have you covered for your industry.
The Essential Course Details
We like to keep it as simple and straightforward as possible for prospective learners to find the course information they need. So below, we have outlined the essential course details that everyone will need to know before starting their CAVA.
Did You Know...
2 out of the 3 units from the CAVA Assessor Qualification require you to carry out two assessments on two learners.
Brooks & Kirk are the only Assessor Training provider that can guarantee access to learners to assess as part of your CAVA course – regardless of your sector. In addition to that, we don’t do deadlines (unless if you choose to have them).
So whether you have access to learners to assess or not, as long as you’re willing to put in the hard work and stick at it, we can assure you that you will achieve your CAVA qualification and become a qualified assessor with Brooks and Kirk.
The CAVA Broken Down
As we mentioned earlier, the CAVA is the most comprehensive assessor qualification from the current ‘TAQA’ (Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance) suite. It is the only course that will fully-qualify you as an assessor.
This Level 3 NVQ probably isn’t as big as you might expect it to be either. If you have previously completed a Level 3 NVQ, you will know that these typically consist of anywhere between 7 to 13 units… The CAVA on the other hand, comprises of just 3 units; and here’s what they involve:
Any Sector. Anywhere.
You could be looking to work as an: Electrical Engineering Assessor, Early Years Assessor, Business Admin Assessor, an Equine Assessor or any other vocational assessor… the qualification you need is the same – the CAVA.
The CAVA course is an industry standard qualification. So just like you get a Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service, this is a Level 3 NVQ in Assessing. What this means is regardless of your area of expertise, if you’re looking to become a fully-qualified assessor, it’s the CAVA you need.
