Brooks and Kirk are developing a new and unique alternative for young people who wish to obtain high level qualifications without incurring the burden of high university fees.
The Young Achievers Programme, YAP, is designed to offer an exciting new opportunity for school leavers, aged 16+, who wish to earn and learn and achieve membership of the appropriate professional bodies in either food and drink production, management or accountancy. It is a 3 stage programme leading to industry recognised qualifications without paying the ever increasing cost of university fees.
Brooks and Kirk’s business manager Steve Kirk says, ‘We are looking forward to working with employers from across the country who would like to take up our offer and to be in at the grass roots of this exciting opportunity. We believe this programme will deliver benefits, not only to the young people themselves, but also provide businesses with the highly skilled, highly motivated workforce they desperately require.’
This programme is still in the design and development stage. We are urgently seeking companies of any size with an interest in training apprentices, at no cost, to contact us with an informal expression of interest. This will then allow us to engage with you all to progress this idea further. For further information or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us on:
