Successful completion of the Level 4 Diploma will allow candidates to register with the Professional Body for Accounting Technicians, (AAT).  These qualifications can also be used in an Accounting Apprenticeship.

 

 

 

 

Level 2 Certificate in Accounting (QCF)

The Level 2 Certificate in Accounting will help learners develop their skills and take on more responsibility in their accounting role, whether they are new to the profession or an experienced worker.

Who is this qualification for?

This qualification has been developed for those working, or wishing to work, in accounting. It is aimed at those who are new to accounting or who may already be working in an accounts department.

Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (QCF)

The Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (QCF) builds on the theory learnt at Level 2 by focusing on more complex accounting tasks, such as the formal preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships and cash management. You will also learn about professional ethics within the accounting sector. The course is eligible for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loans.

Who is this qualification for?

This qualification is an advancement on the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.  It has been developed for those who wish to further develop their accounting knowledge and skills to increase their career prospects.

The Level 4 Diploma in Accounting is the final stage in the NVQ accounting qualifications.  As with the other levels, this course aims to provide learners with the relevant practical skills needed to gain employment in a range of accounting and finance jobs.

This qualification is also approved as a component required for the Higher Apprenticeship in Accounting and is eligible for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loans.
