In order to help to raise awareness of the benefits that employers can reap from taking on an apprentice, the government has been promoting their new ‘GET IN. GO FAR‘ campaign. The purpose of the ‘GET IN. GO FAR‘ campaign is to demonstrate to employers how apprentices are helping businesses of all sizes to grow.
Because it’s not just big corporate businesses that are causing a rise in apprenticeship popularity. In fact, 47% of employers creating new apprenticeships are small businesses.
A study of 600 employers showed that 41% of employers agreed that apprentices stayed in the business longer than other recruits. This is one of many facts that reinforce the argument that apprentices can help to strengthen and grow businesses.
