Funding still available to support the cost of NVQ and QCF unit
Did you know there is still funding available to support the cost of NVQ and QCF unit achievement for employers in the care sector?
There is still a substantial amount of Workforce Development Funding (WDF) left just waiting to be claimed!
Skills for Care’s Workforce Development Funding does not pay for the full cost of a qualification. It provides care employers with a contribution towards that cost. It is claimed retrospectively for completed NVQ or QCF units.
See the full list of the units that are eligible for WDF funding.
To claim WDF, care employers will need to be a member of a WDF Partnership .
The most important thing your Care Employers need to know is that to be eligible to claim the funding, they MUST have completed the full National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC) return.
Completing an NMDS return is not as complicated as it may sound. Moreover, there is help and support available from our NMDS Help Desk on 0845 8730129.
Further information on WDF and NMDS can be found on the main Skills for Care website via these links:
