On the last assessor course we delivered, we had Hairdressers, a P.E teacher, a Beautician and a Business Administrator. These were all on the same course together.
You might be thinking, ‘that’s nice, but why are you telling me that?!’ Well, the reason being, a lot of people don’t realise that the same assessor course applies to people who are looking to become an NVQ assessor, regardless of the sector they are working in.
The vast majority of people who are now completing their NVQ assessor course with us were unsure when they first contacted us as to whether or not this was the right course for them. After we reassured them the qualification to become an NVQ assessor is the same in any sector they were eager to get cracking on with the course. This is the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
After explaining to several people in the last few days that this course is the right one for them, it got me thinking that there can’t be enough clear guidance out there for people who are looking to become NVQ assessors. Although, you have probably realised this already after sifting through all the misleading information that is out there!
But the moral of the story is the same with any occupation. If you’re looking to become an NVQ assessor, the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is the qualification you need.
