The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement comprises of the following units:
- Unit 1 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
- Unit 2 – Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
- Unit 3 – Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding
Unit 1 is the only completely knowledge based unit. We deliver this unit on a virtual learning environment called Moodle. We have tailored the online learning system specifically for our NVQ assessor courses. Our highly recommended online learning system is extremely flexible and would enable you to be able to work through the theory for your course at a pace that suits you best.
In order to achieve units 2 and 3, you would need to do two assessments with two candidates (totaling 4 assessments). There will be one knowledge based assessment and one competency based assessment for each candidate. We are one of the few training organisations that can actually provide you with access to the candidates to assess. You would assess the two candidates in the workplace on one of the days you attend as part of your course.
