Sorry, you have just missed out on this one!
We have been offering the new PTLLS award for free alongside the CAVA assessor course for a while now. Sadly, there is some truth in the saying: “All good things in life must come to an end”, even a Brooks and Kirk special offer!
So, as of the 1st of August 2017, we will no longer be offering the Education and Training Award for free alongside our CAVA. If you are relatively new to the idea of becoming an assessor (and you have arrived at this article before the the 31st of July 2017) then it is your lucky day. Here is why you don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to attain the AET for free…
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is absolutely ideal for anyone who is new to teaching and training. This qualification alone would give you threshold status to teach in the sector which you are experienced and qualified in.
Teaching has always had a part to play in the role of an assessor, the same way that assessing has a part to play in the role of a teacher. In addition to this, teaching is becoming an increasingly important part of the role of an assessor, especially if you are hoping to get involved in the delivery of apprenticeships. As you can see, the AET qualification really does compliment the assessor qualifications. In fact, so much so that there is actually quite a considerable amount of learning outcomes that can be cross-referenced between the new PTLLS award and the CAVA.
If you would like to find out more about the AET and how it can be an ideal qualification to help you get your assessing career off the ground, then please get in touch!
Unfortunately, this offer has now expired.
