About Lexie
Life before Brooks and Kirk
Before enrolling on her Assessor course, Lexie was a chef and pastry chef. That’s where her expertise was, and she had experience in all sorts of areas within the sector, covering all different jobs.
Finding Brooks and Kirk
Lexie had never actually got into teaching before, but she really liked the idea of teaching new chefs something that she is so passionate about. Her motivation was all about how amazing it would feel when her learners achieve their qualifications, as she remembers being so proud when she achieved hers.
Like googled CAVA courses and saw Brooks and Kirk had really great reviews and was really excited about starting. She said we never let her down either!

Life after the Assessor Course
Lexie is now a chef trainer. She secured the job a year ago, just before the pandemic started.
Lexie tells us it’s the best job she has ever done, and she absolutely loves it. She looks to one day be an area manager and go higher, as she really loves the job and company she works for.
