Becoming a Digital Marketing Assessor – Are you a Becky?
Are you working in an office, day in day out? Do you want to put your knowledge and skills into practice by helping others? You might be able to relate to Becky, who decided to become a Digital Marketing Assessor.
Are you a Becky?
Digital Marketing Life
Becky has always had a passion for fashion and is a people person. She works as a Marketing Assistant for an international marketing company. She started off as a Digital Marketing Apprentice for the same company 8 years ago and gained her Level 3 in Digital Marketing.
Working in marketing consumes a lot more of Becky’s time than she would like. This includes bank holidays when she just wants to go for a few cocktails with her friends. Most importantly this means less time with her beloved pug, Jerry. Becky feels it’s time for a change so she can focus more time on her fashion blog, family, and little Jerry. She has big plans for a YouTube channel as well, in the future.
She wants to put all her digital marketing knowledge and experience she’s gained over the year, into helping others that are wanting to build a career in digital marketing.
Becoming a Digital Marketing Assessor
Marketing is such a huge sector, with a variety of jobs and opportunities. The Digital Marketing sector in particular is growing rapidly, and there is a huge demand for work. Not to mention the growth in apprenticeships, they are becoming more and more popular too. Even just within the office, Becky has seen a few apprentices come and go over the years.
Throughout the years, Becky has helped the apprentices with both the practical and theory side. She saw the opportunity of becoming a Digital Marketing Assessor as she was looking for a change in career. After putting two and two together she thought this would be the perfect combination.
Becky can help learners in digital marketing, but doesn’t have to be in the office for countless hours a week. After doing her research, speaking to one of our course advisors over the phone and getting all the answers she needed, Becky enrolled on the CAVA assessor course. Cheerio office life, hello assessing!
The Assessing Life
After joining Brooks and Kirk’s LinkedIn group, Becky was approached by various companies to become a Digital Marketing Assessor. With this in mind, Becky rapidly got through the course in just 3 months. The motivation was she had a new career to look forward to once she had become a qualified Assessor!
Now she darts about all over London assessing learners in various offices who are working for a variety of different brands. She hasn’t looked back since. She can now enjoy spending more time with her friends and doesn’t have to worry about little Jerry the pug.
