According to the latest figures from the National Apprenticeship Service, Apprenticeships are growing in popularity among both employers and young people year on year.
The figures show that in the first quarter of the 2013/14 academic year (August -October) there was a 24% increase in Apprenticeship vacancies posted online. However the number of online applications for the vacancies had increased by 43% (to 461,530). So there is a call for more employers to look into taking on Apprentices to cater for the growing demand.
