Who is this qualification for?
The BTEC Level 2 Award in Awareness of Dementia provides learners with a solid awareness of dementia care issues and is suitable to be taken by learners aged 16 and older.
This qualification can be taken as preparation for employment as well as professional development for those interested in specialising in this area of care as it does not infer occupational competence.

BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Dementia (QCF)

Who is this qualification for?
The BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Dementia Care is aimed at those who are already working in care roles with individuals with dementia and it provides learners with an opportunity to have their work assessed.

It extends the work-related focus from the BTEC Level 2 Award and covers some of the knowledge and practical skills required for a particular vocational sector. This qualification offers an engaging programme for those who are clear about the vocational area they wish to learn more about or are already working in.

Who is this qualification for?
This qualifications aim to guide and assess development of knowledge, understanding and skills in management and advanced practice within health and social care and children and young people’s services. The qualification offers a choice of 6 specialist pathways ;

Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is a recognised qualification for those wishing to enter the Children and
Young People’s Workforce in England. It is based on the Skills for Care and Development National Occupational Standards (NOS). The level 3 Diploma has three pathways that can be followed depending on the work role or the students preference. They are:

What are the benefits of this qualification to the learner and employer?
The Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (QCF) (Early Learning and Childcare pathway) will meet the qualification requirements stated in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.

‘In registered settings other than childminding settings, all supervisors and managers must hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification
(as defined by the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC)) page 31’
.

The requirement to have 80% of the social care workforce qualified to Level 3 was introduced and made mandatory through the National Care Standards Act 2000. The Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (QCF) (Social Care pathway) will be the accepted qualification to meet this requirement.

Customer Service

In these difficult times we all know it is far cheaper to hold onto our existing customers than it is to find new ones. Accounting and Accountancy

Here at Brooks and Kirk we offer a range of accounting qualifications that are suitable for all learners; whether you are new to accounting or have years of experience. Our accredited qualifications will ensure that all candidates will be fully qualified to tackle many accounting roles within a business.

Successful completion of the Level 4 Diploma will allow candidates to register with the Professional Body for Accounting Technicians, (AAT).  These qualifications can also be used in an Accounting Apprenticeship.

Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (QCF)

The Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (QCF) builds on the theory learnt at Level 2 by focusing on more complex accounting tasks, such as the formal preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships and cash management. You will also learn about professional ethics within the accounting sector.

This qualification is an advancement on the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.  It has been developed for those who wish to further develop their accounting knowledge and skills to increase their career prospects.

 Level 4 Diploma in Accounting (QCF)

The Level 4 Diploma in Accounting is the final stage in the NVQ accounting qualifications.  As with the other levels, this course aims to provide learners with the relevant practical skills needed to gain employment in a range of accounting and finance jobs.

This qualification is also approved as a component required for the Higher Apprenticeship in Accounting.

This qualification is an advancement on the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (QCF) and allows learners to continue developing their accounting skills to progress further in their careers.
