Here at Brooks and Kirk, we have a vast range of qualifications designed to get people out of work, back in. No matter what your area of interest is, there will be a course for you. We have Level 2 and 3 qualifications which are completely free for you if you are currently unemployed and claiming benefits. If you were to complete a qualification with Brooks and Kirk you could expect to:

Courses we can offer
We have a variety of courses covering many employability skill sets. The courses listed below are all courses that would be free to the unemployed and ideal for getting back to work.
Managing Personal Finances
Learners will learn about the various types of borrowing and the risks that come with them, as well as developing an understanding for simple financial terms.
Enterprise & Entrepreneurship
This course is ideal for those who are looking to start their own business as a way out of unemployment. Learners will develop an understanding in all areas of business.
This course teaches learners how to search for jobs efficiently. We then help prepare them for interview and guides them through with mock interviews.
Our Functional Skills Awards ensure that learners develop/strengthen their essential reading, writing and numerical skills required in any future job.
Our ICT awards provide learners with a sufficient understanding in working with computers, a skill that is vital with the technological development within most jobs.
Management & Leadership Training
The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the knowledge and understanding of the role of a team leader and the processes involved in leading a team.
Health & Social Care
This course is aimed at those who are interested in working in social care settings. It provides the knowledge required to understand the nature of working
relationships, working in ways that are agreed with the employer, and working in partnership with others.
This course aims to develop learners’ understanding of customer service offers and how they are designed to meet the needs of customers and the organisation.
This course is about preparing learners to be able to behave, and make contributions to work tasks and procedures, in a business environment, in ways that support diversity, security and confidentiality at work, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
